Relative Url field
The relative url must begin with a forward slash character. Generally it should also end with a forward slash as well. For example...
/my/fantastic/url/
You are free to use just about any url patterns you want. You should avoid patterns that the software for your website uses for its own functionality.
For example if you wanted to create a series of stories you could use a pattern like...
/story/15/
/story/19/
...where the numbers correspond to the message numbers for those stories. You do not have to use message numbers. You could use text...
/story/toms-web-hosting-is-fantastic/
/story/build-a-website-now/
Webpage Indexes
If you enter a relative url such as /one/two/ and there isn't a message with a relative url for /one/ then your website will add a message to your discussion with the Topic field set to one, the Content field set to the template tag {% webpage_index %}, and the Relative Url field set to /one/. The /one/ webpage is a webpage index with links to its sub webpages.
An alias is automatically created when a relative url is entered into the field.
